Beautiful Chattanooga, TN - Photo by Janes Walks USA
I'm always looking for interesting stories for my readers. Today, the National Association of REALTORS® published an article that will be of interest to anyone who is considering moving, when retiring.

REALTOR® Magazine-Daily News-8 Alternatives to Pricey Retirement Locales

If you do decide to move out of state, I'd be happy to refer you to a reputable REALTOR® in that area. I will also help sell your current property, to maximize the amount of money you have to invest in your new home. Just call me, at (908) 612-4962.

Autumn in Central New Jersey

No, the title doesn't scan to the music, as well as "Autumn in New York," but the experience is very similar.  Next to Spring, Fall is my favorite time of year.

Most noticeable about Autumn are the changes we observe about us:
  • Trees transforming into beacons of yellow, orange, and red
  • Horse chestnuts and acorns dropping to the ground around us, or bouncing off our car as we drive beneath the trees
  • Squirrels dashing about, madly gathering their winter food store
  • Late-season produce in the grocery stores, especially squash and pumpkins
  • "Pick your own" pumpkin patches
  • Crysanthemums gracing all of our public venues, and many gardens and porches
  • Houses arrayed in ghoulish splendor, awaiting visits from children on Hallowe'en
  • More-sober homes sporting Fall-colored door decorations.

What are your favorite signs of the season?

Welcome!

I'm happy that you found my new blog!

Here you will learn what's going on in the real estate market in Somerset, Middlesex, Union, and Morris counties, New Jersey.

Some of my blog posts will be directly related to market activity - trends, listings, and so on.  Other posts will be about the communities I serve.  Still others will be my thoughts about the area.
